Backflow preventers

Backflow contamination is where the normal flow of our safe drinking water supply is reversed, allowing contaminated water to enter our drinking water supply. Surprisingly, there are numerous situations present in our own homes that cause backflow contamination. These situations are an ever-present threat to our family's health and welfare. Ironically, the ordinary garden hose is the most common offender as it can be easily connected to the mains water supply and used for a variety of potentially dangerous applications.
