Dema®´s chemical dispensing leadership backed by more than 40 years of expertise. The roots of Dema® Engineering Company date back to 1940, when brothers Bela and Hermann Deutsch joined together to manufacture commercial refrigeration controls and accessories. Sixteen years later, after receiving several inquiries from chemical manufacturers for dispensing equipment, the team capitalized on the industry´s demand for quality chemical proportioning and dispensing equipment. With an initial product line consisting of two proportioners, a dispensing pump and a few spray guns, the brothers formed Dema® Engineering Company. The team entered the chemical dispensing industry armed with a new and improved design for proportioners and injectors. This innovative design employed the venturi concept for mixing liquid cleaning concentrates with water to produce a correctly metered dilution. Dema®´s other early dispensing equipment included the development of hydraulic rinse pumps, liquid detergent feeders, blend centers, spray clean equipment and faucet type proportioners. The company´s first proportioner, the Model 167, is still in production. Several decades later, DEMA® continues to build on its position as an innovator and a leader in the chemical dispensing market. With the creation of such products as the Ultra Gap air gap proportioner, several Dial-A-Blend models, improved peristaltic pump systems and a solid chemical feeding equipment, DEMA® is living up to its reputation for accuracy, innovative design and reliable equipment.
